Very retro, as others have already described... The composition looks slightly unbalanced but in this case maybe it works, given the panicked horse. All in all, great job.

This almost makes me feel bad for flattening that inch-long roach a couple nights ago...
It's very good but yes, you are overthinking color values. I can barely tell the difference...am getting the impression you're going more by the RGB numbers instead of by how it looks onscreen.
I don't really follow the color values of the program itself. I tend to check both on my monitor and phone screen to make sure colors are showing up how they're supposed to. More often than not, I keep finding some oddities that I feel need fixing.
Though lately, it's felt like I'm the only one who notices these kind of things. Whether it's a monitor thing or a pet peeve of mine. I'm gonna have to learn to simply ignore it.
"Jesse, we need to atomize."
It could use a little work, particularly the nose & the folds in her shirt around the shoulder. But overall it ain't bad.
Though we don't know each other, I would like to ask you a favor. Namely this: as you do pixel art, would you not drop your oil painting, please? There aren't that many of us working in traditional media anymore. If enough of us did, maybe oils/acrylics/watercolor/etc. would get the attention they deserve.
Thanks for the feedback! And don't worry, I don't plan to drop my tradicional art, specially the oil painting as I love it very much
Have you ever heard of Lupo the Butcher?...
Most interesting version of Garfield I've seen in over 20 years.
First comment/rating!
This is the best piece I've seen from you since I started following your account. You have outdone yourself this time. The shading on the robot & dead aliens (at least I think they're aliens), the depth of field...it all works. A bit more blood puddled around the corpses, maybe a splash here & there, would help. But overall it is excellent. Am curious as to what media you used for this piece...or should I say "what program"?
thank you, i used procreate for this and nearly all my digital art
I wish I'd thought of something like this.
"body horror" indeed!...
It's not to my taste but you got those details in, definitely, & it is well done overall. As someone who gets headaches on a semi-regular basis, I can well relate to this piece.
