You handled the pose rather well, in giving the pic some depth. Maya looks like she hasn't gotten enough sleep here...I can relate to that.

One of the more unique pieces I've seen on NG...it's certainly more interesting than most pics on here involving unclothed women, but admittedly that isn't setting the bar too high.

This conveys the impression that Maya holds nothing back when writing in her diary. EVERY thought & feeling she has is written down in there.

Her arm could use a little improvement anatomy-wise but aside from that, the piece is quite good.
