It’s actually one of my personas!
Until now I didn't go for pixel art at all...most of what I saw did not look good. Yours is the first I've ever seen that is not blocky & excessively JPG-looking.
If I were a pixelated character, I'd go for the first one. She seems like a serious, focused kind of woman...my kinda gal.
Happy belated Thanksgiving (or Happy Thanksgiving 2025 in advance!)
Your cartooning style vaguely reminds me of a comic strip that ran in newspapers in the 80's...it was called "Cathy".
Thanks!
Not bad...it's a bit bright for my taste but that's purely subjective. The one issue it has is the placement of Mr. Haze makes the whole picture off-balance. If the yellow X were shifted a little to the right, that would even it all out & make the piece more interesting.
I like that he's holding a lollipop instead of the stereotypical joint.
That's the first cat I've ever seen with antlers...
Have you ever looked at B. Kliban's cartoons? You should. It would help with what you're doing here.
I haven't but I will give it a google! Thank you for the direction!
Ramen is great. So versatile...you can do a lot of things with a package of noodles.
"mishap" how? I don't see it...she looks good. A cute little thing.
1. She's cute. The style is a bit slick for my taste but it's a good cartoon.
2. Believe it or not, PB ran some great articles up to the mid-80's or so. I recommend the Cold War-type articles for the history.
3. Having said that, who reads PB for anything anymore? The magazine has sucked ever since Hef died.
… I do like war history.
...what Homer reads when Marge isn't around.
Not bad, if monochromatic... He looks like Ghost Rider's cousin from Chernobyl.
