Not much I can add that others haven't already commented on... It reminds me of that old English engraving of Molech, the Canaanite tribal god they sacrificed children to (according to the story).

Ooh I don't think I'd heard of Molech before, fascinating origins... depictions differ it seems, but in the maybe most traditional he looks more like a cow to me. Unholy cow... wonder if he could be a visual origin of how Satan tends to be portrayed and all too, though there are probably plenty of similar horn-clad horrors with older tribes, ought read up, South American tribes had similar ones at least a few thousand years BC, though not sure they were depicted with horns or no, I think it was more wings/fangs then...
Thanks for the review and lore Shaden, cool to know about!
This is one of the better pieces in your gallery.
...am curious as to how you got those stray hair lines popping out against Dunst's overall hair mass.
"Seven breasts. Four of them were stunt breasts, another indication of the degraded state of horror cinema today."
Not bad. What program did you paint this in?
I did it in Krita! I admittedly didn't put a ton of effort into this one, so a "not bad" is perfectly acceptable here heheh
You're off to a good start here. It needs a bit more development.
Maybe put in more of the outer space blackness around the planet? And bring out the planet's surface texture a bit. It's good but it could use some refinement.
If I was into this kinda thing, I would ask permission to have this tattooed on me somewhere. Could've made the face slightly larger...not taking up most of the picture plane. A _tiny_ increase would do it. But it definitely works.
I like the result too...hitting the fave button feels kinda risky, however.
Excellent pose & use of colors. They fit the theme, for sure.
Thanks! Personally this is in my top five Inktober pieces so far this year.
A few thoughts:
- "angel investors", eh? Hmm...it's getting toward the end of the month. I'll have to see how November will play out.
- re tutorials: It sounds like patrons will learn how to draw/paint things in Zilu style. That sounds great but in my case there's one problem: I don't work digitally. :-( In today's ocean of creativity, I'm one of the few trilobites left.
- it's "break the bank". Sorry but yeah...I'm a language trad guy.
- Are you sure you want to do a draw-over of my work? Stop & think about this... But seriously, I could do a rough pencil sketch, scan it in, submit it (e-mail it to you?) & you could use it for whatever group thing you set up next week or month. Just an idea.
Well here are my thoughts.
- I had a very different idea of how I wanted to publish my Patreon for the first time. This wasnt it. But when things got tough, I decided to take the plunge and publish it anyways even if I havent figured out all the details yet. But I do have a plan to get those details figured out and published by early Dec. The Angel Investor lets anyone who wants to jump in early to do so.
- Well, yeah I admit it will mostly be digital. But I am traditionally trained and a lot of the techniques I use can be translated to physical mediums. You're not a trilobite. I know many people that work only physically and many still that work both ways including myself! I don't claim to know the best techniques either mind you. I just figure if people wanted to see how I did things they could.
- I mean draw overs would be for only anyone that wants it. :3 I would probably do this for less experienced artists that might need help with anatomy or character design or just design in general.
its like almost 3 am over here so forgive me if I took some of these too literally.

😘
How about "the Watcher"?
little late for that now, but I'm always up for more name suggestions tho.
I like the concept... How about developing The Being a bit more? Maybe refine the outer body, add some shading, etc.
Also, you gotta up the brightness & contrast. But overall, it's good.
well i haven't drawn for a while till recently, I'm just practicing for now, but thx for the tips much love.
