But their entombed bodies had told their secrets in dreams to the first men, who formed a cult that would always exist, until the time "when the stars are right", great Cthulhu from his dark house in the mighty city of R'lyeh beneath the waters would rise...

[Tree Golem]

Now THIS is how a golem should look...not some unimpressive mud-man. He's huge! His only shortcoming is that he has no legs to run down victims with, but since he started as a tree that's probably part of the gig. I wouldn't have thought it was digital unless it was labeled!...looks like the kinda pen & watercolor work I wish I could do.

Not bad but the eye seems a bit out of place...it would also be more effective if it was glowing green or dark orange instead of white with a tiny circle for a pupil. But the overall texture & color is great!

Excellent! The only thing it needs is either upping the contrast a bit, or use better lighting when you take a picture of the illo. The white areas look faded & gray. Other than that, however, it is fantastic.

It's good to see someone else working in the old media on here, instead of doing everything with a stylus & pad. The skin tones & demure expression are the best parts. Very nice.
