The polar vortex is past; now the yearly pollen storm is rising....am wondering if I caught a cold.

@ShadenLines yo, yeah, i particularly don't recommending coming here to brazil, but maybe you would enjoy it. I could help a bit with the portuguese learning, but i guess there are already a lot of stuff about learning it on the internet

Many brazilians are a bit cheatsy, let's put it like that, so you better make a little research of the average price of things here, an actually good brazilian hooker is between 100-200 R$ for 1 or two hours, maybe a little more due to inflation (i have searched those prices some years ago) by which would be something like 30$

The polar vortex is typically circular and is most defined in the stratosphere. It is a lot more distorted in the troposphere.
Sometimes the polar vortex breaks up into pieces and this is usually a precursor to cold snap.
The link above shows the tropospheric circulation and you can make out a pair of boobs near the North Pole. One piece hit the North America at that time and brought record snowfall to the south.
So you're saying what happened was that we were deluged by mother nature's frozen breast milk?... 🫤

It happens a couple of times each winter. Often it breaks up into 2 pieces and resemble female breasts. The other times it is divided into 3 pieces.
