Welcome, new followers

A few of you have trickled in, in the last three weeks or so. Welcome to my account. You can call me Shade, or Pablo if we're friends. As of now, this is the closest thing I have to any kind of social media. (I did have a personal Instagram acct but I started taking a few days off at a time, then my abstinences got longer. Finally one day I realized I was tired of the same old shit, & deactivated it)

Feel free to browse my art, but if you go by the playlists you'll get a better idea of how I work. My stuff is fairly well organized that way.

As I said a few entries back, I'm in the midst of a major life transition right now...so don't expect me to post a lot of stuff. I get here & do my bit when I can. Other than that there isn't a lot to report...except that I was doing gesture studies one night this past February in a place with bad lighting. One of the better results:

Fast-fwd to June. I was studying the above in the evening, & the inevitable question popped up inside my head: How would it look if I did this with the tools I've been working with lately? (More than one project has started with what would happen if I did ____?) In doing the following I was only concerned with experimental brush technique, nothing else.

They've been slightly edited for clarity in a perfectly legal copy of Photoshop CS6.

Waitaminnit. I log out after posting the above, come back a day later & there's THREE MORE of you?!

I appreciate the follows, folks. Welcome, welcome...sit down, grab a cup of coffee or whatever, hang out for a bit if you like. When you're done with that, you can always browse through my gallery here. (hint, hint)

Very pretty drawings

Thankya much, & welcome to my little online home! As of now there are 35 of you in here, which I didn't expect to happen.

At this point I'm probably more of an experimental painter than anything else... If you do the same thing for long enough, at some point you get tired of it & change is called for. Know what I mean?
