Sort of...it's _the_ manufacturing center for steroids & PEDs in the Southeast. If you're a gym rat anywhere east of the Rockies & outside the New England states, & you're on the juice, then chances are whatever you buy & use was made in one of our labs.

Pretty auspicious name, wasn't expecting to be halfway right with such a dumb joke.
I don't live there & am fine with it. Gainesville is...meh. Also it's on the edge of "hurricane alley" (depending on the track, of course). Thus far I've avoided the worst storm damage in the time I've lived here. Going too far south or closer to the gulf would change that.
