@ShadenLines Sounds like the city I live in but instead of hurricanes, it's tornadoes. Last big one was in '85 but we still get warnings every year. 2021 had a small one still rip through a few blocks. Mother Nature doesn't fuck around.

Hmmm...that sounds like either Oklahoma or somewhere in the Midwest. Never seen a twister myself but I've certainly heard about 'em. Mother Nature needs some serious therapy. She also should not be allowed any alcoholic beverages.
@ShadenLines I'm actually further up in Ontario, Canada.

Hang in there, friend. And be safe!

I appreciate the thought. Am not too worried...northeast Florida isn't "Hurricane Alley". We rarely ever take a direct hit. Usually when a storm comes up from/through the Gulf of Mex, it veers east/northeast across south or ctrl FL into the Atlantic. Or it goes over the panhandle & heads inland. The last time Jacksonville was hit was either '84 or '86, I was told. We catch some of the outer bands of the storm & that's it...a ton of rain & some wind gusts, but I've never seen the kind of destruction they get down in Miami.
